A Major Sale Amid Controversy
Oren Alexander, along with his wife Kamila Hansen Alexander, has sold their luxurious waterfront mansion in Miami Beach for $51.5 million. The sale comes at a turbulent time for the disgraced real estate broker, who is currently awaiting trial for federal sex trafficking charges while incarcerated.
The mansion, located at 2135 Lake Avenue on Miami Beach’s exclusive Sunset Islands, spans nearly 10,000 square feet and includes a pool and dock. The property was sold to a trust, managed by attorney Steven Z. Garellek, with Oren’s mother, Orly Alexander, signing the deed on behalf of her son.
Family’s Real Estate Moves
The sale marks the latest move in the Alexander family’s efforts to offload some of their valuable properties. Reports first surfaced in February that Oren’s father, Shlomy Alexander, had been showing the property to potential buyers. The family had been quietly shopping the home, seeking more than $50 million for the Sunset Islands estate.

The sale follows a series of legal troubles for the Alexander family. Oren, his twin brother Alon, and their older brother Tal are all being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, facing serious charges related to sex trafficking. The three brothers have pleaded not guilty to the allegations.
A Look at the Mansion
Completed just last year, Oren Alexander’s Miami Beach mansion is a striking two-story residence that offers impressive views and a luxurious living space. The home was constructed by Sholmy’s development company, the Alexander Group. The family had originally purchased the half-acre lot for $10 million in 2020, demolishing the existing house to make way for the new mansion.
While the Alexander family had initially considered selling the property before the widespread media reports about the civil lawsuits, they eventually went ahead with the sale amid the unfolding legal issues.
Other Properties on the Market
The Alexander family is also actively selling or renting other properties in the area. Tal Alexander’s waterfront home at 2687 Flamingo Drive, as well as a home at 1611 West 24th Street on Sunset Islands, are among the properties being marketed. The latter property is now available for rent at a price of $49,000 per month, listed with Isaac Lustgarten of the Corcoran Group.
Legal Battles Continue
As the Alexander brothers continue to face multiple legal challenges, the charges against them remain significant. In addition to the federal charges of sex trafficking and related offenses, Oren and Alon are also facing state charges in Florida for sexual battery. A joint motion to dismiss these charges was recently filed by the defense attorneys for the brothers.
The federal case, which includes a third superseding indictment, accuses Oren and Alon of aggravated sex abuse by force or threat in relation to an alleged incident in 2012. The case involves multiple charges of unlawful sexual activity and sex trafficking, including an alleged crime involving a minor.
As the legal proceedings unfold, the Alexander family’s real estate ventures continue, but it remains to be seen how these events will impact their future.
